The Project

Title: Autpat Vero Design

Materials Used: Black matte board, white cover stock, Xerox copier

This project was to stress the signifiance and imporatance of thoughtful design using text and images. The project started by picking a single bitmap/dot image (all animals), then incorporating text in signficant areas. The copy text was irrelevant in this design, and thus lorum ipsum placeholder copy was used. The chosen bitmap image was to be incorporated using many hours of thirty-two rough thumbnails. Those thumbnails were narrowed down to the sixteen best as chosen by peers. Then the final eight were composed and put on heavy stock and mounted using precise dimensions to ensure visual stability and presentation viability. All lettering kerning/tracking/leading was hand-placed, as well as all text and images.
